Beat butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl until light and fluffy. Top with the other cake layer trimmed side down. Add milk, sugar, vanilla and whisk in egg yolks.
In small saucepan, melt chocolate with water over low heat; cool.
Remember to stir every few seconds or it will stick!
Beat with a spoon till both are coated. In a large saucepan, combine the evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Place trimmed side down and frost then top with half of the berries.
