Elvis Presley Pound Cake. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Reduce beating speed to low and add half the flour, all the cream, then remaining flour, mixing well after each addition.
Run a thin knife around inner and outer edges of cake, then invert rack over pan and invert cake onto rack to cool. Add in the eggs, one at a time. Thoroughly cream together sugar and butter.
Beat in the vanilla and scrape the bowl and beater.
Cool in pan for five minutes.
Mix in half the flour, then the whipping cream , then the other half of the flour. Alternate adding in the cake flour and heavy whipping cream. Mix half flour, then whipping cream, then other half of flour and add vanilla.
